About The Position

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Payroll Specialist position. This is a temp-to-hire role, offering a strong start to a long-term career with a well-established, growing organization. This position will be on-site in Lakeland, FL. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for preparing all payroll-related cycles, including garnishments, benefits and insurance. This would require attention to detail and strong financial acumen, as well as great communication and customer service skills. Experience in the management of multiple payrolls would be a huge plus, as this will involve working with several separate and distinct organizations in managing their regular payroll. This position will require on-site work in Lakeland, FL.

Requirements

• 2 years accounting and/or payroll experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in using Excel, Word and payroll software
• High School Diploma
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner
• Ability to handle high volume work

Nice To Haves

• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) helpful but not required
• Experience in the management of multiple payrolls

Responsibilities
