As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll manage the end to end payroll cycle for a diverse book of partners, while serving as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams. This means more than just processing payroll, it means catching errors before clients do, building client trust through consistent accuracy and clear communication. Nice To Haves

  • Payroll or HR platform experience is helpful
  • Payroll experience is valuable, but we’re also open to candidates with strong operational or administrative backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own payroll processing from start to finish for multiple partners
  • Review and validate payroll data for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage employee updates, pay changes, tax settings, PTO, deductions, etc.
  • Audit payrolls before submission and proactively resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide support
  • Help clients navigate PrismHR and troubleshoot payroll-related issues
  • Handle garnishments, writs, tax levies, and related compliance correspondence
  • Generate ACH files, and mail checks as needed
  • Set Up PTO accruals and perform regular audits
  • Identify inefficiencies and improve processes wherever possible
