Processes payroll and provides clerical support to the department. Actively participates in the W2 year-end process. Ensures accurate payroll adjustment processing in Lawson and TASS. Assists with LOAs, Terms and Severance pay. Prepares and maintains merit increases, direct deposits, adjustments, garnishments, and simple deductions. Works with Excel documents to prepare reports and manage data as needed. Knowledgeable and may assist with All Payroll Practitioner I responsibilities. Audits time card reports in the time and attendance system in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Works the direct deposit inbasket. Compiles and verifies the accuracy of payroll-related data and processes payments. Participates in application testing. Assists with researching and resolving payroll inquiries. Any other assignments as given by leadership.
