Heidelberg Materials operates with two HCM platforms: Workday and JD Edwards (JDE). Workday is the primary HCM platform, while JDE supports payroll processing and acts as the source system for numerous HR, Benefit, Retirement, and payroll-related integrations. As part of Project PROPEL, Heidelberg Materials is implementing ADP Lyric Payroll for the United States and Canada and retiring JDE Payroll. This transformation aims to eliminate the dual-HCM landscape by transitioning payroll administration from JDE to ADP and establishing Workday as the single system of record for employee data and workforce transactions. The implementation involves redesigning and transitioning existing JDE integrations and interfaces to Workday and ADP, including connections with UKG, SAP, HCSS, TMW, and other operational systems and vendors. The selected partner will provide client-side advisory, project governance, and payroll transformation expertise to support implementation readiness, solution design validation, integration strategy, risk management, testing, and successful deployment.
