About The Position

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for accurately preparing, reviewing, and processing payroll data for multiple companies across multiple states using the UltiPro payroll system. This role ensures employees are paid correctly and on time, while providing exceptional service to internal partners. Key responsibilities include preparing and processing payroll data, running daily, weekly, and monthly payroll and audit reports, reviewing and auditing incoming employee data from Self Service and Onboarding systems, responding to payroll-related questions, researching discrepancies, and resolving pay issues. The role also involves calculating and processing retroactive pay adjustments, verifying and auditing payroll information prior to payroll transmission, processing manual checks when necessary, and managing and responding to payroll help-desk tickets with a customer-first mindset.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of payroll experience required
  • Payroll tax knowledge strongly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations
  • Experience working across multiple systems in a high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to deliver superb customer service, with a strong emphasis on phone support
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that meets the requirements of the role will be considered

  • Experience working with UltiPro, Workday, or SAP
