As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with various payroll tasks and supporting the payroll department.

Requirements

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar payroll software
Basic understanding of human resources processes and procedures
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently and accurately
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger reconciliation
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is a plus
Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with processing payroll for associates
Perform data entry of associate information, including new hires, terminations, and changes
Prepare and process journal entries related to payroll transactions
Assist with general ledger reconciliation for payroll accounts
Support the accounts payable team by reviewing and processing invoices related to payroll expenses
Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure accurate associate data and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with generating payroll reports and analyzing data for accuracy
