The company has more than 60 locations through which it distributes products, equipment and chemicals, and provides customers with other value-added services including equipment repair, equipment rental and education. This position works as a partner on the Payroll Team to successfully process payroll and complete operational related duties in a timely manner. Onsite in Radnor, Pa $22-$24/HR

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED Required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience in payroll processing in a multi-state environment for 1,000+ employees.
  • Federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Proficient operating knowledge and experience using MS Excel and strong analytical skills, with ability to use analysis to resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability.
  • Excellent follow through skills, extremely organized and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly and listen actively to others.
  • Experience working in diverse teams and contributing to group objectives.
  • Willingness to compromise and adapt to others’ ideas.
  • Openness to changing roles or tasks based on team needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with premier payroll platforms, specifically, ADP Workforce Now- Preferred 1-2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Successful process payroll according to payroll schedules, including but not limited to timecards, garnishments, deductions, funding, taxes, reconcilements, general ledger reports, funding notices and periodic audits.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local tax and legal requirements; advising management as needed.
  • Ongoing reconciliations to ensure a smooth year-over-year transition.
  • Issue year-end documents within required timelines.
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies and process corrections in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and issue standard and/or ad hoc reports from payroll and HCM systems.
  • Provide timely communication to all departments regarding payroll policies and procedures.
  • Review and issue year-end related payroll documents within scheduled timeline.
  • Support all HR Department efforts and other duties as needed.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Provide training and support to employees regarding payroll processes and changes.
