The Seattle Foundation (SeaFdn) People & Culture team is seeking a part-time, hands-on Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to manage payroll processing and benefits administration and compliance. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely payroll and benefits practices, reflecting the organization's commitment to equity, transparency, and respect. The position is tactical and systems-heavy, focusing on daily payroll processing, benefits administration, employee data changes, and HRIS support. It will support semi-monthly payroll, employee onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, reporting, and audit support for SeaFdn and its supporting organizations. The ideal candidate is passionate about process consistency, maintaining audit-ready practices, and providing excellent customer service, with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, professionalism, ethical conduct, and confidentiality. This role requires independence, curiosity, sound judgment, and an applied understanding of relevant Federal and WA state laws.
