This role is responsible for processing payroll in accordance with federal, state, facility, and regional pay guidelines. The position also handles various HR functions including employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. Key responsibilities include ensuring documented pay practices, monitoring pay rates and programs, and timely merit increases. The coordinator also manages the pay-in-lieu of benefits (PIB) process, verifies employee benefit enrollments to prevent conflicts with PIB, and ensures compliance with state and federal poster requirements. Additionally, the role maintains accurate employee information in the HRIS, reviews time and attendance reports for accuracy, and serves as a backup for WOTC compliance and the Human Resources Coordinator.
