Requirements

  • Process companywide payroll with over 1700+ employees (union, non-union, salary, hourly and sales commission payroll).
  • Maintain and update payroll records for new hires, status change, rate/salary change, and terminations.
  • Administer group plan benefits & retirement and coordinate employee enrollments and changes.
  • Process special payroll runs and EFT /manual cheques for terminations, missed payments, and pay discrepancies.
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll, tax, retirement and benefits matters.
  • Reconciliation on payroll related transactions for multiple dealerships.
  • Perform posting on payroll matters and/with intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with BC Employment Standards Act.
  • Month-end, quarterly and year-end close.
  • Other duties as assigned.
