Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial calculations, Microsoft Office Suites, reporting and auditing, preparation of Accounts Receivables, garnishments and benefits required.
  • Company Confidentiality Required
  • One or more years accounting software preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills with a concentration in Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strict attention to detail required.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize job duties.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on progressively more difficult task.
  • Commitment to the objectives of the department and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Helping with data entry for payroll processing to include putting in garnishments, processing fees, uniforms fees.
  • Reviewing new hire packets to make sure their direct deposit is correct and all deductions are input in their payroll file.
  • Input employee information in the portal for benefits and put elected benefits into employee payroll/benefits files.
  • Making collections calls.
  • Helping the manager with accounts receivable invoicing/billing.
  • Special assignments as designated.
