About The Position

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator who is passionate about processing complex full cycle payroll, ensuring payroll data is collected, input, processed, balanced, and verified, and responding to employee inquiries. As a Payroll Administrator, you excel at collecting, inputting, balancing, and verifying payroll information. You will verify wages, deductions, attendance, hours worked, complete pay adjustments, and post information into designated records. You will process and post employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions as well as compile employee time and payroll data from timesheets and other records. You will be responsible for recording employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations to maintain and update payroll records as required. You will implement, monitor, and report on payroll processes in addition to completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll accounting functions. Working with a team of professionals, you will be relied on to provide payroll expertise and services to the organization.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a high school diploma
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, with a minimum completion of Level 1 preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with complex payrolls, including union, commission, payroll balancing, and year-end processes
  • Knowledge of Ultipro Software including payroll processing and time capture
  • Approachable problem solver who embraces self-development and life-long learning
