About The Position

Acadian Client Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Payment Poster to join their team in Lafayette, LA. This position is based in the office, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The Payment Poster is responsible for processing and analyzing payments from assigned payors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite or related software
• Problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
• Ability to multitask
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Professional work ethic and dress code
• Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Punctual with strong attendance history
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Monitor payment variance with resolution including phone calls made to appropriate payers as necessary
• Process and post payments including reconciling unapplied cash
• Ensure accuracy of demographic information
• Utilize payer portals to retrieve EOB’s
• Maintain/Update logs
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
