About The Position
The Patient Transporter at Providence Portland Medical Center is responsible for patient safety and comfort while transporting patients throughout the campus. The role exemplifies service excellence standards when interacting with patients, families, and visitors. This posting is for an on-call position with a variable schedule.
Requirements
- Obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Experience with computers.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience working in the health care field with patient contact and training in proper patient transfer techniques, or two years in a customer service position or field.
