About The Position
San Marcos Treatment Center is seeking a Driver to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments; providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One (1) year of transportation services experiences preferred.
- Must maintain a valid license as required for transportation of patients.
- Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care certifications; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
- Must be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record as obtained from the Department of Public Safety.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the facility address (120 Bert Brown Rd San Marcos, TX) to be able to respond to on-call situations in a timely manner.

- Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
- Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
- Communicate and consult with the Department Director and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information, as needed.
- Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
- Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
