About The Position

The Patient Transporter safely moves patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to and from clinical and ancillary departments, supporting a compassionate, efficient, and comfortable experience. The position involves communicating with patients and medical staff, assisting with patient transfers, maintaining equipment, and following safety protocols. The role may involve working as needed, during the day, or on weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association is typically required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, and pushing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff.

• At least one year of related experience is preferred.
