Provides safe and efficient transport of patients, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies within the hospital. This role involves communicating with other departments to assess transport needs, interacting with patients and customers, and performing data entry via the Tele-Tracking System. The position requires knowledge of the hospital's physical layout and patient testing areas, proper body mechanics for lifting and moving patients, and adherence to the Patient Identification and Alert Process. Additionally, the role includes performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and maintaining the security of Protected Health Information (PHI).
