About The Position

Voyago is currently recruiting for Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants in London, Ontario. Your Role: You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence. You can provide outstanding customer service. You have excellent communication skills. The Patient Transfer Attendant in London is a unionized position. Shifts: You must be available to work throughout the week, as well as work multiple weekends per month. Hourly Wage: $20.01 per hour.

Requirements

Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
Basic Life Support certification (HCP)
Valid G class driving license
Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
Safe driver with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
Up to date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) must be valid within last 12 month)
Successfully completed High School or can provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma
