About The Position
Voyago is hiring two Part Time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill an open position for our Sudbury, ON region. This posting is for an existing vacant position with Voyago's Patient Transfer Service. We are actively hiring to fill this current position.
Requirements
- Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
- Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
- Valid G class driving license
- Ability to remain calm in an emergency situation
- Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
- Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
- Safe driver with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
- Up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) must be valid within last 12 month.
Responsibilities
- Safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
