This position is actively responsible for an assigned department, serving as the initial resource and communication liaison between immediate staff, other departments, and Patient Services management. The role assists, resolves, and reports under the guidance of the area Supervisor. Performs all technical or administrative work at an advanced level of competency and efficiency. Actively involved with patient and process quality improvement while remaining compliant with regulatory agencies. The role involves on-site responsibility, including intradepartmental and interdepartmental communications and activities. Internal customers include all employees, and external customers include patients, nurses, physicians, office personnel, and vendors.
