About The Position
Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Patient Services Specialist in our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) North Clinic located in North Portland. This role is phone-based and focuses on providing a consistent, efficient, and easy experience for patients and stakeholders, ensuring they receive high-value care. The position is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience, preferably in a medical office is strongly preferred.
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
- A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty care OBGYN experience is a plus!
- Epic experience is a super plus!
Responsibilities
- Answering phones on a multi-line system and scheduling patients.
- Obtaining and completing insurance information.
- Backup support for checking in and out new/established patients.
- Updating records as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
