About The Position

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Camp Hill. Evening and weekend availability required to support the hours of operation. Office experience preferred.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills.
• Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.
• Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
• Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
• Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.
