About The Position
Join our team as a full-time, Patient Services Rep (PSR) in Bartlesville, OK. Utica Park Clinic, founded in 1982, is a multi-specialty medical group with more than 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers representing over 25 specialties across 80 plus clinics in Oklahoma. This is a multi-faceted position consisting of customer service, insurance verification, registration, payment collection and data entry and referrals. Responsible for ensuring patient flow, medical record availability and completeness, scheduling physician/provider appointments and maintenance of physician appointment schedules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic understanding of insurance, referrals and medical record
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous medical office experience
Responsibilities
- Receives and greets patients and visitors, ascertaining their needs and assisting them in a timely and courteous manner.
- Answers telephone promptly in a customer friendly manner.
- Collects and verifies accurate patient information and enters into registration system.
- Receives payment for services and correctly completes charge slips for data entry.
- Committed to being a team player by performing all duties as required or assigned to provide quality patient care.
- Uphold the policies and procedures of Hillcrest Healthcare System.
