About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 to support USC Arcadia Hospital, a 348‑bed acute care hospital with a busy Emergency Department. The patient food service operation serves approximately 175–240 patient trays per meal and plays a critical role in overall patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead patient-centered food service operations in a fast-paced, high-impact healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service operations
  • Success managing high-volume patient meal service programs
  • Strong focus on patient experience, quality, and service recovery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare food service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the patient services team, ensuring a high-quality, patient-centered dining experience
  • Oversee daily patient food service operations for a 348‑bed hospital serving 175–240 trays per meal
  • Conduct patient experience rounding and resolve concerns to drive satisfaction
  • Partner with clinical and nursing teams while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance
  • Drive process improvements and innovation to enhance service and operational efficiency
