About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Manager 2 to lead the Patient Dining Program at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. This leadership role is ideal for a patient‑focused professional who is passionate about service excellence, collaboration, and creating a memorable healthcare dining experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in elevating patient satisfaction while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. What You'll Do Evaluate, develop, and enhance service levels for the Patient Services Program to exceed patient and customer satisfaction goals Oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program , including daily meal rounding and effective service recovery Collaborate closely with clinical, foodservice, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall patient experience Conduct tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and tray accuracy Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and successfully lead through regulatory and compliance inspections What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to uphold high standards and implement company policies
  • A strong passion for creating a memorable patient experience every day
  • Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain service excellence in a fast‑paced environment
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Dietitian (RD), CDM, or Nutrition degree preferred
