About The Position

Grow Your Career and Make a Difference Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania. As part of one of the region’s leading healthcare systems, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced acute care environment focused on delivering an exceptional patient dining experience. This highly visible leadership role will oversee all aspects of the patient meal service program while leading and developing a team of approximately 50 frontline employees. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving patient satisfaction, operational excellence, employee engagement, and service quality throughout the department. The schedule is generally 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. This leader will also be trained on opening and closing procedures and will participate in rotating weekend coverage every other weekend.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of employee engagement leadership and prior supervisory experience.
  • Culinary production experience with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to drive employee success to enhance the food and nutrition team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Minimum Management Experience
  • 2 years Minimum Functional Experience - work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day patient services operations.
  • Coordinate tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff.
  • Deliver high-quality food services in patient meal management operations.
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships.
  • Create and execute strategic plans to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure HACCP, regulatory, and Sodexo standards compliance.
  • Interact daily with patients, families, and the clinical team to ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive environment that supports employee engagement and performance.
