About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role is within a fast-paced acute care environment focused on delivering an exceptional patient dining experience. This leadership role will oversee all aspects of the patient meal service program while leading and developing a team of approximately 50 frontline employees. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving patient satisfaction, operational excellence, employee engagement, and service quality throughout the department.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of employee engagement leadership and prior supervisory experience.
  • Culinary production experience with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to drive employee success to enhance the food and nutrition team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day patient services operations.
  • Coordinate tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff.
  • Deliver high-quality food services in patient meal management operations.
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships.
  • Create and execute strategic plans to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure HACCP, regulatory, and Sodexo standards compliance.
  • Interact daily with patients, families, and the clinical team to ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive environment that supports employee engagement and performance.
