About The Position

The Patient Service Representative is a vital role within the Referrals Management team at Fitzgibbon Hospital. This non-profit community hospital serves the Marshall, MO area. The Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, initiating electronic encounters and ensuring accuracy which directly impacts reimbursement. The role requires adaptability due to constantly changing insurance requirements. This position is primarily based in Referrals Management/Centralized Scheduling but also floats to assist with Hospital Registration, a 24/7 department with varying hours.

Requirements

• 1 year customer service experience
• High School Diploma
