About The Position

American Health Imaging is actively searching for a Patient Service Representative Supervisor to join their team in Canton, GA. This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm. The Supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment for all patients, families, and visitors while performing various duties. These duties include interviewing patients and/or families to obtain demographic and financial information, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying patient insurance, explaining financial responsibility, and collecting same-day payments.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years office experience in a healthcare setting
Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

Manages the training and onboarding of new team members
Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process
Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-ones
Monitors and approves timecards
Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations and on-going development of team members including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/ or terminations when necessary
Defines job responsibilities/specialty tasks and priorities
Develops and monitors the teams’ performance through a QA process
Establishes employee schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate department coverage (5%)
Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Creating and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment for all patients, families, and visitors
Interviewing patients and/or families to obtain all demographic and financial information
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
Verifying patient insurance
Explaining financial responsibility to patient or patient representative
Collecting same-day payments
