About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to support appointment scheduling for pediatric patients and their families. The representative schedules appointments by phone, in person, and through electronic correspondence; responds to incoming calls; places outgoing calls to arrange appointments; and coordinates with clinic staff so patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner. This is a 50% FTE position, working 20 hours per week. Monday–Friday availability is needed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and hours may vary based on clinic operational needs. Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, with relevant work experience considered when determining starting base pay.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in an office or customer service environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in healthcare.
• Previous experience scheduling patients.
• Previous experience answering phones and greeting clients in person.

Responsibilities
