About The Position
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Patient Scheduling Representative! This role is crucial for ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments through various channels, including phone, in-person, and electronic correspondence. You'll handle incoming calls from patients and their families, assist them with their scheduling needs, and make outgoing calls to schedule appointments. Collaboration with clinic staff is essential to coordinate patient care effectively.
Requirements
- 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
- Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred
- Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
- Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
- Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.
