About The Position

The Patient Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments via telephone or internet and maintaining the efficiency of the patient schedule. They are responsible for building positive relationships with patients by efficiently, effectively, and courteously communicating information.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Dental Software knowledge (Eaglesoft knowledge preferred, but not required.)
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance and must have annual Motor Vehicle Record Check, as a condition of employment if employee operates any Company owned vehicles or drives their own personal vehicle for Company business purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments for the Hygiene schedule.
  • Maintain call logs and correspondence files for each location.
  • Fill the Hygiene schedule by reviewing the following lists: sooner if possible, quickfill, and recall within the Eaglesoft system.
  • Utilize Revenuwell to schedule, cancel, confirm, or reschedule hygiene appointments.
  • Complies with: Dental Depot policies and procedures; OSHA policies, procedures and rules and regulations; and HIPAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Position may be required to relocate to other Dental Depot clinics either permanently or on a short term basis due to office needs, on an as needed basis at the discretion of Management.
  • This position may complete other Administrative tasks assigned by Management.
