Requirements

Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast-paced environment is required
Knowledge of and/or completion of a medical terminology course
Proficient computer skills
Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the team
Evidence of good attention to detail
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital-related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
