About The Position
In this role, the successful candidate will assist the Maintenance Assistants with lawn and garden care and general maintenance of the Hospital grounds.
Requirements
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance
- Evidence of good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Evidence of ability to work well independently and as a member of the team
- Demonstrated good attendance record and the ability to maintain this same standard
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
- Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the use of industrialized grounds equipment is preferred
