About The Position

The Patient Relations Rep II is responsible for patient-related activities, including scheduling, check-in, checkout, and follow-up. The role serves as a liaison among the physician, patient, facility, and insurance company, and collects patient payments at checkout. The representative meets compliance standards and maintains strict confidentiality when handling patients and patient information.

Daily interactions should demonstrate a positive organizational attitude and effectiveness while modeling the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Behaviors and attitude should support the system’s goals in Service, People, Finance, Quality, and Growth.

Requirements

• Computer, keyboard, and data-input skills.
• Pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining proficiency and efficiency.
• Dependability and reliability.
• High school diploma, GED, or certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Some college or vocational training.
• At least one year of experience in a physician office.
• Knowledge of EHR/EMR.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Professional, neat appearance with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of third-party payers.

Responsibilities
