About The Position

Union Health is seeking Patient Registration team members for its Terre Haute campus. The Patient Registration team supports patients and hospital operations by managing the hospital database, updating patient information, confirming insurance details, answering calls, and responding to patient inquiries and concerns. Team members help ensure services are provided in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies in a fast-paced environment. This position performs front-line information and receptionist duties, answers telephones, makes pre-access phone calls, and coordinates faxes. The role requires strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, English communication skills, and flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. The employee must participate in an on-call rotation that includes weekends.
