About The Position
This role involves providing observation and surveillance of assigned patients using video monitors and a 2-way audio device. The Patient Monitor will communicate with and instruct patients, notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition or safety risks, and document observations of patient activities, behaviors, and other safety and comfort-related issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience preferred
- CNA/PCT preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
- Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
- Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
- Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
- Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.
