Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (required)
  • One years’ medical office experience (required); will consider other combinations of education and experience
  • Experience with medical terminology and working in a clinic or hospital setting (required)
  • Strong computer and word processing skills (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of coursework in medical terminology and medical records (preferred)
  • EMR and scheduling experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated medical provider, managing day-to-day coordination and communication.
  • Ensure providers are fully prepared for their appointments with organized schedules and up-to-date patient information.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by educating patients, managing follow-ups, and facilitating post-visit needs like labs, supplements, and referrals.
  • Communicate with warmth, clarity, and attentiveness to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Coordinate with internal and external providers, retrieve medical records, and help relay wellness recommendations in line with our whole-person approach.
  • Support team operations by stepping into clinical or administrative roles when qualified and needed.
