About The Position

The Patient Journey Partner, SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) role is based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We are driven by the goal of making life-changing care for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) as accessible and seamless as possible. As a Patient Journey Partner within our Customer Engagement chapter, you will influence and build meaningful connections with stakeholders in the Rare Disease and Neurology ecosystem, promoting trust and partnership. Your curiosity and networking skills will be key to understanding customer needs, forging strong relationships, and unlocking opportunities for collaboration and innovation. This role is for a dedicated professional driven to challenge the status quo and make a tangible impact on patients' lives, shaping the future of medicine.

Requirements

  • University degree in a scientific, economic, or business field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the life sciences or healthcare sector.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fast-paced, competitive market dynamics and the Canadian healthcare system.
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, including collaborating as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leveraging digital tools for improved stakeholder experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience in Rare Disease and/or Neurology.
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or account management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison between stakeholders and Roche, leveraging influence to foster impactful relationships, trust, and collaboration.
  • Drive meaningful connections and the use of Roche products.
  • Ensure appropriate use of Roche's products, sharing benefits and risks with Health Care Practitioners truthfully and in a balanced manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to prioritize and plan account/stakeholder activities based on team priorities.
  • Partner across functions to address stakeholder needs, prioritize solutions, and evaluate progress.
  • Implement an omnichannel approach to engage stakeholders with Roche's offerings.
  • Participate in a peer-to-peer coaching and mentorship model.
  • Embrace self-directed learning and experiential growth as part of the working culture.

  • The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
