Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Services Manager II to lead our Patient Services team in an acute care setting at a 700-bed hospital serving acute, children’s, and behavioral health populations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or a related field
  • Previous food service experience required
  • limited or entry-level supervisory experience preferred, ideally in an acute care setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
  • ServSafe® certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of patient food service programs based on medical direction and patient population needs
  • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and developing patient services team members
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and modified diets while meeting patient preferences within prescribed guidelines
  • Contribute to the achievement of patient satisfaction goals
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while following HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies
  • Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
