About The Position

TouchPoint Support Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Patient Flow Manager to oversee patient transportation and support service operations across Via Christi Manhattan and Via Christi Wamego. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of hourly associates, and ensuring exceptional service delivery that supports patient care and hospital efficiency. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to support additional regional accounts in Wichita, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or management experience, preferably in a hospital, healthcare, hospitality, or related service environment
  • Strong background in patient care, customer service, guest services, or healthcare support operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coach associates, and drive operational performance
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations that improve service delivery and efficiency
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with patient transport, healthcare support services, or hospital operations is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 10–12 hourly associates, including Patient Flow Coordinators, Transporters, and Constant Observers
  • Oversee daily patient transportation and patient flow operations for Via Christi Manhattan and Via Christi Wamego hospitals
  • Ensure patient transport services are delivered safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and customer service
  • Monitor and direct dispatcher activities, establishing effective workflows and transportation priorities
  • Coordinate patient transportation services with nursing units and other hospital departments to support efficient patient care operations
  • Develop, train, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including Federal, State, Joint Commission, OSHA, and CDC requirements
  • Assist in managing departmental budgets, controlling expenses, and achieving financial and operational performance goals
  • Analyze operational data and key performance metrics to identify trends and implement process improvements
  • Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as business needs require.
