About The Position
This role is responsible for assigning and prioritizing patient beds based on clinical need and unit capacity to ensure optimal patient placement and flow. The Patient Flow Lead partners with nursing leadership and environmental services to proactively prioritize cleaning workflows, minimizing patient wait times. They also consult with nursing and provider teams to facilitate the smooth placement and transfer of all patients, and diligently maintain patient documentation and department logs, executing placement orders with precision.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.
