About The Position

UPMC Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a full-time Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) for its Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, 7F. The role supports patients, families, and clinical staff through bedside, stocking, and administrative tasks, helping create a smooth and compassionate hospital experience from arrival to discharge. Duties include guiding visitors, delivering meals, transporting patients, and managing supplies. The role does not include clinical tasks such as bathing, mobility assistance, or administering medical care.

The position consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) and requires rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour; the final title and rate are determined by experience and education.

Requirements

• High school diploma, active enrollment in a high school/GED program, or one year of previous work experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
• Demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to provide an exceptional experience for patients and families.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Act 34 clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
