Sodexo is seeking an experienced Patient Dining Services Manager 2 for Food and Nutrition Services to lead daily patient services operations for their food team at HMH JFK University Medical Center located in Edison, New Jersey. JFK University Medical Center is a 499-bed non-profit, acute care hospital and a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health system, operating as a teaching hospital for complex neurological and rehabilitation care. The Patient Service Manager will provide oversight to the hospital Diet Office personnel to ensure that all nutrition/food regulatory requirements are being achieved in operations. This position will be the conduit between patient tray line and clinical components of compliance. They will implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve nutrition services and patient satisfaction. The role involves interacting with patients and serving as the primary liaison for the clinical (physicians, nursing, and pharmacy) and food service teams. The manager ensures compliance with Sodexo operating policies and procedures and works to maintain those standards, being accountable for the execution of service quality and ensuring customer and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounding and hosting monthly diet education classes with Nutrition Assistants.
