About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Food Service Manager at St Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. This strategic food service leader will direct and manage the patient feeding operations at the medical campus. This food service manager will lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff, managers, supervisors and leads, and will work closely with nurses and patients to ensure we are meeting and exceeding expectations.

Requirements

  • management experience in the food service industry in a high-volume environment
  • exceptional customer service and service recovery skills
  • experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols
  • natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
  • manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors
