This is an in-person position at 8200 Walnut Hill Ln., Dallas, TX. The Patient Companion Virtual Care role utilizes technology for virtual patient observation and interventions to ensure safe patient care. The role involves collaborating with hospital unit nursing staff to set up cameras for optimal patient visibility, activating alarms with appropriate settings, and continuously observing multiple patients on a monitor. The companion will redirect patients to maintain safety and ensure a co-worker monitors assigned patients during breaks or other temporary situations.
