About The Position

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a Patient Communications Operator in Jackson Heights, New York. The operator answers high volumes of telephone calls, responds to inquiries, resolves issues, enters data into a computer, and protects patient privacy by following HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. The position works five 8.5-hour shifts Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a call center operator, preferably in the medical field.
• Excellent computer and customer service skills.
• High school diploma required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
