About The Position

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a Patient Communications Operator in Jackson Heights, NY. The role supports patients and the organization by handling a high volume of telephone calls, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and entering data into a computer. The operator must protect patient privacy by following HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. The schedule is five 8.5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a call center operator, preferably in the medical field.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
