About The Position
The Patient Care Technician, under the direction of professional staff, assists with patient care to support patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. The role is for the Neurology Pulmonary department and is listed as full-time, with hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on rotating days.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet one of the following experience or training pathways: one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; graduation from a certified nursing assistant program; graduation from a certified medical assistant program; nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a nursing program; documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; foreign nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the United States; or EMT certification/paramedic license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
