About The Position

The Patient Care Technician works in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide excellent patient care. The role assists with patient care and provides support services to patients, the nursing unit, and professional staff. This is a full-time night position in Neurology Pulmonary, with hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program; or have one year of experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility; or be a nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a nursing program; or have documented military experience as a medic or corpsman; or be a foreign nursing graduate who is not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support card.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
